While restoring my own early house in central New York, I discovered that there were a number of small architectural salvage firms around who were seeking an inexpensive way of marketing their wares. I also discovered that there were a number of people like myself who were looking for the perfect item to complete their restoration. From those observations OldHouseStuff.net was conceived.

OldHouseStuff.net was designed to be a central resource for old house people to find that missing piece, whether it is a piece of hardware or a peice of information. Shoppers will be happy to find links to the latest salvage items on eBay as well as items for sale by salvage companies both large and small. Salvage providers from around the country are welcome to provide links to their establishments here, as well.
